On May 17, 2024, from 2:30 PM, we will host a free documentary film screening of Dr. Tetsu Nakamura, with a capacity of 100 people.

Organized by the Osaka University Global Initiative, and co-hosted by the Inochi Forum, we are proud to present the documentary film “Lighting the Light of Hope in the Wilderness – Doctor Satoshi Nakamura 35 Years of Local Activity,” which showcases Dr. Tetsu Nakamura’s 35-year dedication to medical aid, humanitarian support, and reconstruction in the war-torn regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

This film not only addresses global issues such as poverty, hunger, natural disasters, infectious diseases, and conflicts but also offers a chance to learn from the life of one Japanese individual who devoted his efforts to solving these problems and to find hope for the future.

Following the screening, there will be a talk session with Director Kenji Yatsu.
